Yu Yin (b. Shenzhen, China) is a research-based artist currently based in Rotterdam. She works across the mediums of experimental publishing, installation, and moving image. Her practice focuses on the overlooked technical objects and underlying infrastructures of everyday life, exploring how space, body, and labor are shaped and maintained. Through a storytelling approach that weaves archival research with embodied experience, she reveals the delicate intersections between the operational logic of everyday objects, historical narratives, and contemporary cultural production.
